Ping Zing Putter

As one of Ping’s proven, classic designs, a Ping Zing Putter is included in the Karsten 1959 series of putters along with other classics like the major-winning Anser 2 and the popular, face-balanced Craz-E. All the putters in this series have an attractive non-glare satin finish.

The Karsten 1959 series Ping Zing putter has both right-handed and left-handed forms and a head weight of 355 grams. It is heel-toe balanced and is of the conventional type.

Karsten 1959 putters have a soft elastomer cavity insert that consistently produces a solid response and sound. The stainless steel face of a Karsten 1959 putter assures that you will get a consistently solid feel and a pleasing sound on impact. This helps you achieve superior distance control and builds your confidence in your stroke so that you will make more putts. These putters have a thin top rail to give them a clean look, which also inspires confidence.

For the i-Series of putters, the Ping Zing putter is in good company with the traditionally designed Anser model and newer, popular alignment models like the Craz-E, the Wack-E, and the 1/2 Wack-E. The two Wack-E designs feature increased moment of inertia as well as easier alignment, but golfers with loyalty to the more traditional designs can take their pick from the Anser and Zing models, which are proven favorites.

The pursuit of enhanced feel combined with proven weighting properties resulted in Ping’s creation of the i-Series putters. These putters bring together a urethane insert and a face appliqué, and this combination gives a firm response with a soft feel.

With a head weight of 340 grams and heel-shafted balance, the Ping Zing putter for the i-Series is a conventional type of putter. It is available for both right-handed and left-handed golfers.

The iWi putter series, which puts customization in the golfer’s hands, is available in six popular designs, one of which is a Ping Zing putter with a head weight of 345 grams. Instead of changing putters, a golfer can change the putter’s weight to his or her desired feel. If you want more mass toward the heel or toe to match your stroke, you can just insert a 20- or 28-gram tungsten weight.

Each one of the putters in the iWi line comes with two sole weights made of stainless steel and a two-piece insert (of elastomer and stainless steel) to give a golfer the feel and performance that Ping Putters have always provided. Whether you are a right-handed or left-handed golfer, you can have a conventional, heel-shafted Ping Zing putter from the iWi series.
